Catching Academy student and San Ramon Valley high school catcher, Ray Soderman has committed to continue his playing career at the College of San Mateo. Ray came to the Catching Academy after his sophomore year of high school having never caught and has since developed into one of the top catchers in the very talented East Bay Athletic League. The College of San Mateo is one of the premier junior colleges in Northern California that transfers players nearly a hundred percent rate.
Noah Burnham (College Park High School) was the first CA student in the 2015 graduating class to commit when he aaccepted a scholarship to the University of California, Santa Barbara in November. Both Soderman and Burnham have both caught no hitters for their high school teams this year and now both are committed to play for top notch college programs in the Fall.
Congrats to both players on their hard work paying off and best of luck in the Fall!
